WAGS Of SCI

WAGS of SCI (Wives And Girlfriends Of Spinal Cord Injury) was started by Brooke Page and Elena Pauly after finding each other meeting randomly on Instagram. Both of their partners were injured in freak accidents and sustained c4-c6 spinal cord injuries at a young age. After feeling alone and isolated for years, Elena and Brooke met by chance and decided that women should ever feel alone in this community again. Realizing there was nothing out there to support them as WAGS (wives and girlfriends of spinal cord injury), they started a sisterhood group to support and find others like themselves. They believe that the issues surrounding women who support their men with this devastating injury should be recognized, not hidden; celebrated not discouraged; they believe that these unique relationships deserve a special outlet where women can connect, love and encourage one another in a safe space!
