GreyZoneStudios explores the intersection of human creativity and generative AI — using technology as a new pathway for personal artistic expression.

Over the past year, I’ve been experimenting with AI-assisted music by adapting public domain texts from the 1800s into contemporary songs. These projects include Songs Inspired by Dorothy Wordsworth and The War of the Worlds Redux.

My latest release, I Love Our Country (Lake Lyrics and Other Songs), draws on the poetry of 19th-century Canadian writer William Wilfred Campbell and my own experiences in Ontario’s majestic landscapes and lakes. The title track, “I Love Our Country,” was written in March 2025 as a quiet act of resistance to threats against Canada’s sovereignty — and a heartfelt expression of pride in a nation that remains the True North, strong and free.
