PlasmaPy

PlasmaPy is an open source community developed Python 3 package for plasma physics in the early stages of development.

PlasmaPy intends to be for plasma physics what Astropy is for astronomy - a collection of functionality commonly used and shared between plasma physicists and researchers globally, running within and leveraging the open source scientific Python ecosystem.

This channel will host tutorials for how to use, contribute to, and develop plasmapy code.

Ongoing development of PlasmaPy is supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation and NASA, with many contributions from the broader plasma physics and open source communities. Early development of PlasmaPy was supported by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Smithsonian Institution, and Google Summer of Code.
