Ashley Grenstone

Born and residing on the traditional territory of the Algonquin Anishinabe Nation ‘Odawa’ (colonially referred to as Ottawa) Ashley was raised in several territories across Turtle Island (Colonially referred to as North America), and is herself a mix of colonizer (English, French, Irish, German, Austrian), Bonnechere Algonquin First Nation and Mi’kmaq.

Ashley is an advocate for ‘Ending Child Exploitation: Supporting Alternatives to the Usage of Children in Armed Conflict, Servitude and Indoctrination’ or otherwise affected by genocide, globalization and colonization. 

As a Designer and Professional Artist the works of Ashley Grenstone have shown in group exhibitions across Turtle Island. With 10+ years experience in freelance design contracts and diversity consultations Ashley has a roster of clients (Ex: The Canadian Under 25 National Rifle Team) and formative, leadership experience in roles that include Project Leader, Event Host, Workshop facilitation and public speaking.
