ලෝකයට දුර්ලභ වූ කාරණාවක් ලෙස පහලවන ස්ම්මසම්බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේලා " ලෝක සත්වයා රාග ගින්නෙන්, දෝස ගින්නෙන්, මෝහ ගින්නෙන්, ජාතියෙන්,  ජරාවෙන්, මරණයෙන්, ශෝකයන්ගෙන්,  පරිදේවයන්ගෙන්, උපායාසයන්ගෙන්  ගිනිගෙන ඇවිලෙන ලද්දෙහි, මා හැර ඔවුහු නිවලන්නා වූ අන් කිසිවෙක් නැතැ" යි දැක ඔවුන් ඒ දුකින් එතෙර කරවීම සඳහා දේශනා කොට වදාළ ශ්‍රී සද්ධර්මය, නිර්මල බුද්ධ වචනය පාඨක ඔබ අතට පත් කිරීම තුලින් දිට්ඨී ඕඝ, කාම ඕඝ, භව ඕඝ, අවිජ්ජා ඕඝ යන චතුර් ඕඝ තරණය කර සංසාර දුකින් එතෙර වන්නට අත්වැලක් වීම අපගේ ඒකායන අරමුණ වේ.

As a rare matter for the world, the Lord Buddha said, "When the world's creatures are burnt by the fire of passion, the fire of dosa, the fire of delusion, race, filth, death, grief, paridevas, and tactas, there is no one else who can save them except me."
