NYLSO Information

The New York Late-Starters String Orchestra (NYLSO) is an adult amateur orchestra for players who have recently started playing or returned to playing after long hiatuses. We believe that it is never too late to start something new; that perfection as the only standard to strive for is detrimental to society, and that adults/older people are every bit as capable of changing the world as their younger counterparts!
