Ashtanga Yoga Shala

About me: Myself Sneh Lata, Certified Adult Education teacher accredited by the State of California, my first meeting with Yoga was in 1988 when I was in Middle School. I have been taught a sequence of yoga asanas with drum beats which still resonates in me. I kept doing yoga and learned various yoga forms like Hatha yoga, Yin Yang, and Pilates but when I learned Ashtanga Yoga, I could not go anywhere else. YOGAS CHITTA VRITTI NIRODHAH. Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind and the eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga transform the being. It removes the disharmony of three foundational doshas(vata, pitta, kapha) which is the base of any disease, and takes the being to ease. Yoga is an individual journey to oneself. May everyone rejoice in this journey and enjoy the bliss..
