The Cultural Salon

The Cultural Salon (TCS) supports exceptional creative individuals inside Palestine, and centers their perspectives - as artists supporting artists. TCS identifies and nurtures exceptional individuals who often have inadequate access to development, distribution, and recognition for their work. The grassroots organization coaches, networks, strategizes and facilitates on behalf of each person they work with. In this way, the cultural brain drain is slowed, and Palestinian creatives remain on their ancestral land so their society benefits from their creativity. TCS is a bridge for highly considered cultural exchanges, via the cultural salons they curate, providing access to audiences and potential collaborators in the West. This provides opportunities for international artists equally, as they access their peers in Palestine, for peer-to-peer exchanges that inspire and reaffirm everyone’s humanity, sense of agency, and creative spark, offering encouragement, resilience and sumud.
