Melanie Radford is an American bassist and vocalist of multiple genres, best known for playing bass for the 90’s indie rock band Built to Spill (since 2019). Her debut solo album is ‘For the Sake of Stillness’ is part meditation, part love poem, part hymn. A deeply personal project made with close collaborators. The final record is a pilgrimage, an expression of liminal and scattered moments that are grounded in their passage through one luminous soul.
