Zellweger UK

Here at Zellweger UK we are all families who have or have lost children to Zellweger Spectrum Disorder (also known as Peroxisomal Biogenesis Disorder.)

Together we have set up Zellweger UK to support families dealing with this rare, life limiting condition, and to help fund desperately needed research into effective treatments and one day, we hope a cure.

Approximately 1 in every 50,000 babies are born with ZSD. Although there are plenty of families who have been affected by this awful disease, it is still considered very rare, so there is not enough government funding in this area of research. We aim to help change that.
