Yosemite Sierra Artists (Yosemite Western Artists)

Yosemite Sierra Artists was founded in 1971 by a group of artists and art enthusiasts interested in sharing their work, their experience, and their passion for learning more about the arts. The organization flourished and continues today as a community-sponsored enterprise dedicated to the development of the visual arts.

YSA offers participation on many levels. For members who simply want to show their support by joining, your membership dollars will go toward organizing and funding classes, workshops, and exhibitions, and the day-to-day expenses of keeping the organization running. For members who want to be more hands-on, the organization is always seeking volunteers to help with YSA events and activities. Artist members benefit from each other’s experience and through participation in YSA classes, workshops, and exhibitions.
