That Dad at Sea

I’m Lyle—stay-at-home dad raising two young boys aboard a catamaran. One’s learning to talk. One’s learning to tie knots. Neither wears pants reliably.

We traded the 9–5 grind for engine failures, therapy sessions at sea, and bedtime meltdowns under the stars. This isn’t just travel. This is toddler-fueled, therapy-supported, dad-led boat life.

You’ll see the raw, the funny, the overwhelming, and the kind of moments that make you say “WTF… I wish I was doing that.”

⚓ Expect parenting fails, boat wins, ocean tantrums, therapy breakthroughs, and the real cost of freedom.

If you’re chasing something different—or trying to survive your own version of chaos—welcome aboard.
