Yoga Root

The Yoga Root is an embodied health and fitness studio based in beautiful Westport, Co. Mayo. The studio was due to launch on March 14th but due to the Covid-19 crisis, our doors have not yet opened. So here we are online in our virtual studio, where Derrick Dark aims to keep the spirit of traditional classes alive.

All classes will be LIVE and streamed, to keep the ethos of a fluid practices that captures the nuances of daily life. Some days the classes will be more invigorating because the sun is shining and the air is crisp with energy. Some days the classes will be deeper and more transformative because hard news has hit the country. With live classes over recordings, we can capture as many of these intricate and necessary components of the real world that get lost. Don't worry, we will have a couple basic recordings available for your home practice.

We recommend signing onto the website 10 min early, so all tech is good to go!
