Tony McGreal - Topic

I compose original instrumentals mainly on acoustic guitar for use in Film, TV , video games and other media. I have written over 1,285 original guitar instrumental tracks, including 15 albums, which have been released across all the major digital platforms. I also have 1,075 tracks in the stock music library, Pond5.

I specialise in composing short simple tunes which hopefully convey the mood of the title. My music covers various themes including Celtic, love, nature, relationships, childhood, the sea, desert islands, Western, Latino, Olde England, and spiritual pieces.

My influences are Ludovico Einaudi, Mark Knopfler and any composer who specialises in gentle, atmospheric, instrumental music.

My music has been played regularly on BBC Radio 3 Unwind and on The Sleeping Forecast on BBC Sounds.
