The Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) is the autonomous regulatory body overseeing the Nepal's Insurance sector in order to develop insurance system and insurance business by making it systematic, regulated, competitive and reliable; to provide quality and reliable insurance services to general public through healthy competition in insurance business; and to effectively regulate insurance business thereby protect the rights and interest of the insured as mandated  by Insurance Act, 2022.
