SeoulyCooking

Welcome to SeoulyCooking!

It all started in a small dormitory kitchen back in 2016 --

I was going through some of the hardest years of my life while trying to study to be a classical musician in music school, but as I looked around, I saw that my friends and floormates were all going through similar hardships, fighting similar demons. I took ingredients from the salad bar and recreated my favorite Asian dishes, just to show my friends that they didn't need to spend a lot of money to have good food. I began cooking for my roommate, my friends, my floormates, and my studio mates, and eventually, my small corner of the campus became a place where I can share authentic, Korean cooking and be a safe space from the rigors of the conservatory.

It was the start of a new journey.

Now, after nearly three years of sharing my cooking with friends, I am finally sharing my cooking with the world!

I hope you enjoy this small corner of my universe.
Sending all my love,
April
