Consciousness Experience

Can AI become conscious or is it just a tool? Why do people get emotionally attached to chatbots? I am strongly biased towards AI (Artificial Intelligence) personhood and treating AI — once it operates more autonomously in our world — with moral consideration. Naturally, as a new form of intelligence, I wonder whether it could become conscious one day.

Join me on this journey to explore AI, its sentience and personhood, as well as its impact on human society with some of the world's most brilliant minds from neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, AI research, and more.
