Platform of Theater Initiatives

PTIcentre is a channel created by the NGO Platform of Theatre Initiatives.
Everything we publish here is about us and our friends who are engaged in contemporary theatrical art in Ukraine and beyond.
There are three main areas of our work:
- own art product - plays, performances, drama readings, video production
- festivals - theatrical fresh festival "Ya i Sela Bruk", Educational art festival "Kurbas.Technologies", etc.
- social and educational art projects, such as BaikyHub or Doctor Smile.
What is theatre today? Just an interesting holiday, or a powerful institution that should take an active part in society?
Actors and directors of modern Ukrainian theatre are increasingly involved in the life of their own society through their work, trying to influence its changes. It is extremely important for us to be useful in this matter.
The purpose of PTI is to create a special space of opportunities for the development of theatrical art in Kharkiv and Ukraine as a whole.
