BB's music was born without effort, by itself. The songs are writing themselves, without any genre limitations. The end result is a very unique and one of a kind sound that is already recognized as a key element of Blackbird. All BB songs are born in the hands of one woman in a charming at home studio.
"At first, doing it all myself felt like freedom. When the recording started to go smoothly and the first steps of editing took place, I felt I could do this. However, the world of sound is such a huge whole that you can only embrace it one step at a time. Then I realized that I still don't know anything. The amount of learning and assimilation rolled over me time and time again, but at some point I always returned to the studio and opened the sessions. It was always crap. The songs themselves are the reason why I've managed to bring myself to this point. They've been playing inside me for a long time and that's why I know that when they come true, they'll be worth all the work." -BB
