The Soul Rays

We are a straight up funk band from Liverpool boasting three amazing singers, funky brass and a rock solid rhythm section.

Taking influence from the likes of Rick James, James Brown and Betty Davies. We are taking the old school funk sound and giving it a modern twist while staying true to the one.

Our music is designed to make people dance and give crowds the best time possible. We have played some amazing gigs with some great acts, such as The Mouse Outfit, Dub Pistols and Myron & E. We have also played at some of Liverpools top music events and received critical acclaim.

This year is looking like a big one for The Soul Rays and we are ready to take you with us! We look forward to seeing you xx
