The Absolutely Never Show

It's not a Morning Show, or a Late Show, or an Extremely Late Show... It's just never on at all. [Ed. note: does this make sense? consider changing name, format, everything]

The Absolutely Never Show is an artful, aesthetically gracious, intelligent, and sometimes poignant expression of how badly its creator wants to be loved and adored, to the point of dancing around in front of a motion capture rig in his basement and ripping laugh tracks off of old television programming.

With critically important interviews and insightful cultural criticism, it pushes the interview and monologue formats beyond "good" into "something other than good." [ED: find way to get NYT to publish this verbatim as a review, then cite NYT]

If you were to guess that this magnificent production is all put together by one person with Blender, After Effects, and a bunch of ripped archival video, you would be correct.
