Written Beyond a Waiting Love Song.
(based on a poem written decades ago).

A pen drifts softly in my hand,
Rolling up and down, line by line.
Each word is traded to the end,
While love songs play, their rhythm mine.
The music pulls my thoughts along,
The pen keeps moving on and on, beyond.

Writing beyond a pen within my hand,
I write of love, I write of peace,
For every life, for human hearts,
For all we are, for all we seek.
Writing beyond a pen within my hand,
This is more than a waiting love song.

Writing beyond a pen within my hand,
I spell each word I understand.
I walk the road from A to B,
See every start, each destiny.
I trace the truth from start to end,
With living ink that will not bend.

Writing beyond a pen within my hand,
I write of love, I write of peace,
For every life, for human hearts,
For all we are, for all we seek.
Writing beyond a pen within my hand,
This is more than a waiting love song…
