VanDog Ventures

Welcome to VanDog Ventures, where every adventure is told through the eyes of Odin, a giant German Shepherd with a nose for exploring and a loyal human who keeps the old van running. Together, we're traveling the back roads, discovering hidden campgrounds, state parks, scenic trails, lakes, and small-town gems—all from the comfort of a vintage 1983 Chevy Trans Van. Every trip is about slowing down, finding beautiful places, and proving you don't need a brand-new RV to have unforgettable adventures. Expect campground tours, scenic drives, campfire evenings, hiking trails, swimming spots, wildlife encounters, honest campground reviews, and plenty of moments that only a curious German Shepherd can appreciate. Odin is the storyteller, the trail inspector, the squirrel expert, and the self-appointed director of every journey. His human mostly just drives.
