SJ Louw

Hi, I’m Schalk Louw, SJ for short. Im a Namibian tour guide, stuntman, professional photographer, and extreme sports enthusiast. 🌍📸

I left Pelican Point Kayaking to go freelance, creating unforgettable journeys through Namibia’s wild landscapes- from towering dunes and desert plains to rugged coastlines and hidden wildlife havens.

I am, to my knowledge, the only Namibian who has ever earner a Screen Actors Guild Award (2016)
-Mad Max: Fury Road

Beyond guiding, I’m passionate about marine conservation. Over the years, I’ve rescued countless Cape fur seals entangled in ropes, nets, and fishing lines-sharing their stories here to raise awareness about the impact of ocean pollution. Every rescue reminds me why protecting our planet matters. 🌊🦭

This channel is where I document those rescues and adventures, hoping to inspire others to care for our wildlife and wilderness.
