Girls on the Run of Central Maryland

Girls on the Run of Central Maryland is an independent chapter of the Girls on the Run International® Organization. The after school program for 3rd through 8th grade girls promotes healthy choices and inspires physical activity. Girls meet twice each week for 10 weeks at their chosen location. The weekly lessons prepare the girls physically for a 5k (3.1 mile) running race, and mentally for various life issues pre-teen girls typically face.
It is our mission to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
