Ks Animal Response

Teams of local trained volunteers who respond in a disaster to set up temporary animal shelters and provide care for pets displaced by a disaster. While the humans stay in Red Cross shelters and figure out their next steps, animal response team volunteers care for their pets so they have one less family member to worry about immediately following the disaster.
