The Ryder Family Farm

We are first generation farmers and transplants to the Southern Illinois area, born and raised in the vast Arizona deserts.

In 2013 we began our commercial farming journey with a small fruit & vegetable CSA, homemade goat milk soaps and UDSA licensed poultry eggs. We keep dairy goats, a Jersey cow, Katadhin hair sheep, heritage turkeys, ducks and chickens. Most recently we've added garden mums to our growing rotation.

Our ideal farm does not feed everyone in the surrounding area but it does provide the most diverse products all produced while complimenting & coexisting with one another. Allowing us to grow your food helps you feed your family and it invests in our future as farmers which in turn invests in you, the community and local food security.
