Tallac Historic Site

Since 1996, the Tahoe Heritage Foundation’s (THF) mission is to preserve and protect the cultural heritage and national history resources of the Lake Tahoe Basin through restoration, interpretation and education. THF’s central focus is the landmark Tallac Historic Site which includes estates listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. At the Pope and Baldwin Estate, the Foundation creates a variety of family friendly educational and interpretive activities and events to showcase the local and indigenous history of the area.
