Curl Lyn

Being Indian Jamaican (mom) / Grenadian (dad) some people call me a “coolie gyal” others say I have “good hair”. But the truth is I did NOT. My mom and aunts raised my sisters and I to hate our curly hair. Unintentionally, they taught us to be insecure and hate our true selves. Fortunately, we are in a different generation and different era where it’s becoming popular to be natural and love yourself, so I started my natural hair journey and I couldn’t be happier!! The love I grew for my hair and more importantly myself is such an amazing feeling. Especially the compliments you will get will just be confirmation that your doing something right. I want to spread that feeling to everyone I can, so I’m going to take you for a ride on my curl journey and hopefully you will want to join me! You won’t regret it.
