MAHARAL

MAHARAL's old world, future funk feel is quickly becoming known for its dramatic and moving work. A combination of original music, dance, storytelling, wit, history, and theatre create a truly unique concert experience.

MAHARAL's chameleon style easily translates to the worlds of belly dance, steampunk, faerie, pagan, renaissance, bardo, medieval, burns, burlesque, carnival, house parties, hookah lounges and healing based-events. We are entertainers for large scale productions and intimate gatherings alike. Either way, we are guaranteed to stir hearts and get audiences up and dancing, while story telling, mystifying and engaging in a perfect blend of live arts. To the stage our artists bring original music whose sounds span Zeppelinesque rock, gypsy lullabye, soul shaking drumming and alchemical tango. Belly dance, fire play, fan dance, sacred gongs, drum steam machine, rope dance and intricate costumes accompany the dance spectacle.
