I’m Shirley Archer, the Wellness Sensei. I’m a wellness visionary, integrative health educator and embodied mindfulness expert.

I’ve been in the health and fitness industry for over 25 years. I’m a best-selling author of 16 books, an award-winning journalist, meditation teacher, a certified forest therapy guide and yoga and Pilates master trainer. I worked for 15 years at Stanford University Medical School with top preventive medicine researchers.

My own path to healing was informed by my bi-cultural background, being firmly rooted in the wisdom lineage of my Japanese mother and the scientific data orientation of my American father.
