Sledge Leather

Sledge Leather is the new vehicle for renowned metal singer Leather Leone and Sandy Sledge. The pair were reunited after a 20 year absence from the metal scene when friend and mentor Ronnie Dio passed away in 2010. In tribute to him, they recorded "Egypt" which was received to overwhelming response and resulted in an invitation to the 2011 Keep It True Festival in Lauda Koenigshoffen, Germany. Playing to a packed house of 3000 chanting for them, they decided to come back to the US, put together a band, and enter the music scene once again. The resulting 2012 release of Imagine Me Alive is a critical and fan success. The band, also comprised of former DIO and Heaven and Hell (Sabbath) members Jimmy Bain and Scott Warren, respectively, plans to do much more touring and recording.
