Texoma Fats

Texoma Fats is the creation of the multi-talented artist, Bruce L. Boone. Also known as Fats, OTRIP and as His Divine Warrior, RAS MIKO. He is a Black Indian Artivist, supporting and spreading awareness of his ancestral community through his art. Texoma Fats is “Di GodFada of POETCHI”, which is artistic energy transcended. Born in the Texoma region of Ada, Oklahoma, and bred in the neighborhood streets of Hammond Heights. Growing up with the 3 P's, the Pimps, Pushers and Playas, hence spawning the infamous Texoma Fats. But don't get it twisted; Texoma Fats isn't about Weight, Status Quo or None of That! It is a State of Mind! “I am a testament to my beliefs and philosophy that the Arts contribute to healing and change.” In 2008, Fats turned his energy towards the arts and delved into the history of his birthplace and his people. He went on to found the Haus O’ PoetChi, Indie Label and Publisher.Though sales are necessary to support the cause, art always comes before commerce.
