The First Lectures is an original initiative hosted by Carnegie Mellon University's Undergraduate Student Senate that recognizes seniors for what they contribute most to underclassmen: wisdom and mentorship. Seniors considered models of success on campus at CMU were nominated by fellow students throughout the academic year. In 2014, out of over 100 nominations,six seniors were selected from this group to give a short, twenty minute lecture on the topic 'What have you learned at CMU?'. Each lecture is individualized and meant is a senior's reflection on the past four years at Carnegie Mellon, and how his or her school and peers have impacted them. 

The inaugural First Lectures has ended for 2014. Next round will begin in a year!
