The Lindy Circle

The Lindy Circle began in Spring Quarter of 2011 at UC Santa Barbara. It was formed by a small group of undergraduate and graduate students who wanted to learn, teach, and practice everything swing -- meaning East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Balboa.

Two years later, that small group has evolved into a growing organization of students and community members who are committed to offering quality lessons and dance events to excite new dancers and continuously improve the technique of more advanced dancers. The Lindy Circle envisions a strong, welcoming community of Lindy Hoppers at UCSB where everyone can social dance in an open and friendly environment.
