Braille Institute

Braille Institute provides FREE training, classes and workshops to positively transform the lives of those who are visually impaired at seven regional centers in Southern California, through community outreach locations, and virtually online:

- Low Vision Rehabilitation
- Independent Living Skills
- Assistive Technology Training
- Library Services (audio books, large print and braille books; telephone reader program)
- Orientation & Mobility Skills
- Braille Literacy Skills
- Child & Youth Development
- One-on-One Consultations & Support Groups

Braille Institute delivers these direct services to thousands of people through certified professional staff, at no charge, from the generous funding of private individual and foundation sources, and the dedicated efforts of volunteers.
