Brendan Thompson | Speed Coach, DPT

Speed is a skill. This channel is where I coach it.

I'm Brendan Thompson: D1 All-American sprinter at Iowa, 2x Big Ten medalist, and Doctor of Physical Therapy. I've been coaching athletes in St. Louis and online since 2017. That PT background is how I make athletes faster and keep them that way.

Here you'll find sprint mechanics breakdowns, acceleration and max velocity work, testing (10s, flying 20s, 40s), and the strength and hamstring durability work that lets you keep sprinting at full speed.

Coming back from a hamstring? My Return-to-Speed track takes you from cleared to fast with criteria-based progressions, then rolls you into the full program.
