Mika Mutti

Mika Mutti | Brazilian Jazz, Piano, Guitar & Percussion
Brazilian pianist, guitarist, arranger and producer based in Los Angeles, with a career alongside Sergio Mendes, Carlos Santana, Will.i.am, Flora Purim, Common, John Legend and Jamie Foxx. Self-taught in the northeast of Brazil, I developed my own voice in Brazilian jazz, blending it with electronic music.
For over a decade I've been arranger, songwriter, co-producer and musician on Sergio Mendes' albums, including Oscar, Grammy and Latin Grammy recognized projects. I also co-produced the soundtrack for the Rio 2016 Olympics closing ceremony and performed there as a DJ.

* Brazilian percussion (berimbau, cuíca, pandeiro and full batucada) played through digital instruments and video game controllers
