Steve Barboza - Guitar Covers and Heavy Metal

Welcome! I’m Steve Barboza, a guitarist, songwriter, and creator of instrumental rock and metal music.

On this channel you’ll find guitar covers, playthroughs, sight-reading challenges, original compositions, and performances spanning rock, metal, hard rock, pop, and the occasional rap remix. Whether I’m learning songs by ear, putting Songsterr tabs to the test, or recording my own music, the goal is simple: play great guitar and have some fun along the way.

If you’re into heavy guitar riffs, melodic leads, fast solos, and musicianship inspired by bands like Metallica, In Flames, Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, Iron Maiden, Carcass, Megadeth, and Black Sabbath, you’re in the right place.

I’ve also released two instrumental albums, New Earth Establishment and 51979, featuring original rock and metal music that’s perfect for workouts, gaming, sports highlight reels, skate sessions, studying, driving, or anyone who just loves guitar-driven instrumental music.
