For us, passion for trade is simply in our genes. The small family business established by the brothers Carl and Heinrich Heinemann in 1879 has developed over five generations into a major distributor and retailer for the international travel market.

Today, the fourth generation is represented by Claus and Gunnar Heinemann on the supervisory board and the fifth generation is represented by CEO Max Heinemann on the executive board. Gebr. Heinemann is the market leader in Europe and one of the top global players in the Duty Free and Travel Retail industry worldwide.
