The band was born in 2006 and then had three members: brothers Kevin and Guillaume on guitar and Damian on drums. Kept Inside really took shape in early summer 2008 with the arrival of the bassist ,Charlie, in the band. 
Kevin then quickly took on the role of lead singer. Little by little, the group abandoned covers to concentrate on creations that were both melodic and energetic. Through its lyrics, it tries to express the difficulty of man in apprehending the complexity of his existence and his consciousness.
As the members were then living 700km apart for studies, it was difficult for them to rehearse on a regular basis. Nevertheless, Kept Inside recorded a first EP in February 2010 in the Rock School Bus (Barbey, Bordeaux). The formation also manages to progress through a few concerts in the Bordeaux region.
A big step in the band’s history was the recording of the first full Album “Infinite” July 2011 with Bud Records, which is none other than Mathieu Pascal, guitarist of the band
