Orchestra Omaha

Orchestra Omaha is a community orchestra, originally founded as the Omaha Municipal Orchestra by a group of area musicians in 1998. We perform 4-5 free concerts per year at various venues throughout the city. Our members are volunteers and come from a variety of backgrounds/careers.  Orchestra Omaha is a recognized 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, by both the State of Nebraska and the Internal Revenue Service. Orchestra Omaha is also funded in part by grants from the Nebraska Arts Council/Nebraska Cultural Endowment. The 2016-17 year marks the orchestra's eighteenth season of concerts.
